Celestyal Cruises Wins Four ‘Outstanding Awards’ at Tourism Awards 2018

Three Gold Awards and One Silver Award Recognize another Stellar Year

Piraeus, Greece: Celestyal Cruises announced it won four ‘Outstanding Awards’ at Tourism Awards 2018. The company was honored with Gold Awards in the categories “Corporate Identity/Corporate Branding”, “Sailing” and “Travel Experience” and a Silver Award for “Digital Presence & Online Communication.” The awards are a testament to the company's continued efforts to offer its passengers an authentic experience in the Aegean and true Greek hospitality, as well as its efforts to promote Greek cruises worldwide.

For the fifth consecutive year Boussias Communications presented Tourism Awards under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO). The awards are given to the finest organizations in the travel, hospitality and leisure sectors for best business practices – these business practices create innovation, ensure the peerless, quality experience tourists enjoy in Greece and support the growth of the Greek tourism industry. The award ceremony was held on 20 March 2018 at the Foundation of the Hellenic World in Athens, Greece, and was attended by more than 700 senior executives representing major Greek tourism brands.

Celestyal Cruises was once again rewarded for its groundbreaking cruise practices, both the product it provides to its passengers and its global promotion of Greek cruising as a unique holiday experience. The company received a Gold Award in the Corporate Identity/Corporate Branding for the success it had raising awareness of the Celestyal Cruises brand in 140 countries and creating campaigns that gave new and returning passengers a deeper understanding of the Celestyal Cruises philosophy and what differentiates the cruise line from other brands. Throughout 2017 Celestyal Cruises organized press conferences and press trips, participated in international tourism fairs and garnered coverage for its cruises in myriad media outlets around the world. The company also continued with its ambition corporate social responsibility programs.

Celestyal Cruises also won a Gold Award in the Sailing category for the “Celestyal Inclusive Experience,” the company’s extensive "all-inclusive" package, which provides each passenger with all-inclusive drink packages, all meals on board, entertainment and comfortable, well-appointed cabins, as well as selected shore excursions, harbor fees and gratuities

Celestyal Cruises received a third Gold Award in the Travel Experience category for the authentic travel experiences and personalized service it guarantees its passengers, both on board and at all of its destinations. The company’s travel experience philosophy is based on four pillars: culture, destination, culture, eno-gastronomy and entertainment, and the its themed events – more than 40 over the last few years – provide passengers of all ages, interests and nationalities with immersive experiences that give them a deep dive into the magic and wonder of Greece.

Last but not least, Celestyal Cruises won a Silver Award in the "Digital Presence & Online Communication" category. This award recognized the company’s strong – and growing – digital presence, its improved and increasing online communications initiative and its new website, which features seven local domains and a pleasant, friendly browsing experience.

The site was redesigned and re-launched after a detailed examination of how the company’s passengers and visitors to the site use it.

"We are particularly pleased to win these awards again,” said Kyriakos Anastassiadis, Chief Executive Officer of Celestyal Cruises. “Our goal every year is to be one of the best cruise lines in Greece, and to provide our passengers with a cruise experience that inspires them to sail with us again and again. These Gold and Silver awards are a wonderful recognition of what we are achieving and the tremendous work the Celestyal Cruises team is doing, both on our ships, in our offices in Piraeus and at our incredible destinations. We will do everything we can to return to the podium at Tourism Awards 2019.”
